A support group for families stricken by pediatric cancer.

Jesus said that he wants us to shine brightly. He didn't just say, "I am the light of the world" (John 8:12); He also said, "You are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14).

You Are My Sunshine is a support group for families who have been stricken with childhood cancer. When a child gets diagnosed with cancer, the whole family is affected. Smiles From Heaven with our program, You Are My Sunshine, will bring families with similar experience together in efforts to improve quality of life. This support group is for the child and immediate family members.

Our Program:

Provide emotional & spiritual support through fellowship gatherings and creative arts.

Create a setting where families can come together and support each other.

Create a setting where you can express your feelings and work through them.

Provide an environment where ideas for coping with family concerns such as role changes, relationship changes, and how to support the child with cancer can be shared and discussed.

Establish a bond and a friendship with others who have had a similar experience.
